Project Description
This modernization initiative focused on stabilizing enterprise ETL workloads and preparing legacy Oracle-centered systems for cloud-native scale. The platform handled high-volume financial and operational datasets and required strict reliability, auditability, and performance controls.
Using PL/SQL, Python, ODI, Informatica, and Oracle GoldenGate, we built resilient ETL/ELT workflows with stronger data quality checks, better logging, and optimized query execution. The result was a faster and more maintainable data ecosystem aligned with long-term cloud migration goals.
The story
At ADP Private Limited, we led the migration of critical Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) workloads to Microsoft Azure while modernizing dependent services with the .NET framework. The project began with deep assessment of legacy integrations, database dependencies, and business-critical finance and HR workflows. We then designed a phased migration path that minimized downtime, replatformed selected modules into .NET-based services, and improved observability and performance in the new cloud environment. This transformation reduced infrastructure overhead, improved deployment speed, and gave the business a secure, scalable foundation for future digital initiatives.
OUR APPROACH
Our approach combined a phased migration strategy with incremental refactoring. We first mapped source-to-target dependencies, introduced validation checkpoints, and set up monitoring for every stage. Then we modernized components in controlled releases, replatformed selected services to Azure and .NET, and tuned performance using indexing, batching, and parallel execution patterns. This reduced operational risk while improving scalability and recovery confidence.
